Slight of Hand - And Foot MIKE RUSSELL/The Times Special attractions at the annual San Mateo County Fair & Floral Fiesta continued to amuse and delight crowds of onlookers at the fairgrounds in San Mateo over the weekend. Above, magician Terry Godfrey has confounding fun performing his version of the old shell game on the mati stage, while, at right, a member of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Skate Patrol achieves a soaring leap over a cluster of other team members in a demonstration by the Outdoor Rotlerskating Association of America. Sunday's attendance of 22,708 was the biggest for a Sunday since 1985; total for the first six days stood at 82,721, off a bit from last year. A schedule for tonight and Tuesday is on Page A2. |
